The Romanian band DAYS OF CONFUSION returns to the public’s attention with a new studio single – “Lia (Stay)” – and a new video, this fall. The novelty and the surprise of this release being  the launch of their first song composed in the Romanian language. The concert will take place on Wednesday, November 20th, at EXPIRAT, the Compressor Hall (Constantin Istrati Steet, no. 1).  Safari Sky will be the opening act!

Tickets can be purchased via iabilet.ro! Public access will be allowed at 8 PM.

Lia (Stay)” is our first new song after 2 years since the release of “Yin & Out” album. At the same time, it is the first time when I am writing lyrics in Romanian. It was strange at first, but since last year I had  to face this… so called “fear”. It always seemed to me that I could only be creative in English. It sounded well whatever I would have done. And the ideas came naturally every time … I must mention that it’s a real challenge to write lyrics in Romanian, especially for rock / metal music and I think there are only a few local bands that sing in Romanian so that it sounds really good. It’s not because they aren’t good at what they do, but because this particular language is tricky and difficult to use in this context (in my opinion). Yes, it is a challenge! Of course, we won’t give up writing in English. This time, we wanted to see how we’ll handle this new part of our musical approach and I’m really curious how the song will be received by the audience.

Who is “Lia”? She is the child hiding in of each of us, struggling to stay alive, young in spirit, because we have become adults and we are about to forget everything … the joy, the gentleness, the sincerity and the beauty. We can hardly wait to see all of our fans on November 20th at Expirat,  for our new release,” declared Cosmin Lupu (vocals / guitar).
